Garden Tour 2010

Explore the beauty of the Cowichan Valley by visiting unique private gardens! You are invited to view special properties during the 16th Annual Cowichan Valley Garden Tour on Sunday June 6th. There are six very different gardens - all new to the Tour. The gardens will be open to all who love beauty – those who would love to know more about how to achieve a spectacular garden – and everyone who would enjoy a relaxing day exploring hidden areas of the Valley.

Our 16th Garden Tour welcomes garden enthusiasts from previous years plus many new supporters. Enjoy the beauty of unique plants and plantings, as well as amazing design features and a beautiful vegetable garden. Discover what to plant in your own garden by flowerslearning from the successes of fellow-gardeners. The garden owners will be on hand to share their horticultural successes, challenges - and even disasters! Imagine how many headaches and how much money you can save by learning from experts. Master gardeners will also be present to share their knowledge and expertise.

There will be a Toonie Tea/Coffee with baked treats in one garden, and raffle tickets for wonderful prizes will be on sale at each site, so carry change!

Tickets at $15 each will be available in May 2010. Information on ticket outlets will be posted in the spring. Your participation benefits not only you, but also many Cowichan Family Life Association programs which support children and families throughout the Valley.
